Emerald Island is literally surrounded by conservation and wetland. It is a land island, an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. After returning from a stimulating day at Walt Disney World, there is something calming about driving past the dolphins guarding the entrance to Emerald Island. The sweeping drive to the manned gate house and arriving at our home away from home. Maybe its the thought of being able to freshen up from a full day, perhaps the beckoning of a refreshing dip in the pool or the thought of a cool drink and a hot spa. Whatever it is, I know it is a great feeling coming ‘home’ to Emerald Island.
Emerald Island has a grand clubhouse with concierge service, fitness center, tiki bar, sauna, clubhouse pool, spa, volleyball court, nature walk, two children’s playgrounds and more. With a choice of accommodation from 3 or 4 bedroom townhomes to pool homes with anything from 4 - 7 bedrooms, there is sure to be somewhere to suit your needs at Emerald Island.
If you are having a family reunion, a multi-generational gathering or just a large family vacation, Emerald Island can accommodate you. For larger groups and those that just want a little more from their vacation home, I recommend the estate homes located on the “Enclave” area of Emerald Island. The Enclave contains larger homes on larger lots - meaning more space in the homes, more amenities and more space between the homes for added privacy.
